    Dog slow game download - showing either 984.88 Kb/s or 1.44 Mb/s


    I'm trying to download 26.82 GB Warframe. In the Queue manager, the displayed throughput flips back and forth between 1.44 Mb/s and 984.88 Kb/s.

    The problem is, I have a 100 Mbps Internet connection. In fact, on this xbox, I flipped over to the Microsoft Edge web browser and loaded up speedtest.net. Speedtest.net says I have a 126 Mb/s download rate. On this same xbox that's downloading somewhere
    around 1 Mb/s.

    Why, on the exact same hardware & network connection, would an xbox game download at less than 1% of the speed that's available? How do I fix this?

    personally i have Verizon fios 85/35 package. xbox live downloads are terribly slow for me.

    Latency: 45 ms

    yet. on xbox i am lucky to see 2Mb/s down & 1mb/s up. Its absolutyely garbage. It will take me forever to download this 16GB Grand Theft Auto 5 right now..

    My download is moving between 7 and 30 Kb/s -_- about .002% of my 15mb/s. Yeah, 15 mb/s isn't much but... come on.

    The internal Xbox "detailed network statistics" page says "Download speed: 123.32 Mbps / Upload speed: 102.62 Mbps / Packet loss: 0% / Latency: 22 ms"

    There is nothing wrong with my xbox or my network connection. Does Microsoft throttle its download servers?

    Hi,

    You're not the only one. I'm having issues downloading this game from the XGP on PC. A few days ago it was downloading at a painfully slow 0.3 mb/s. Now it's gone up to between 2 and 3 mb/s. Like you, it's only this game.

    I'm a hardware techy person and I'm positive this slow download is Microsoft's end.

    Why Mb/s instead of MB/s on Xbox dl

    When I download a game on my console it always shows in MB/s and GB/s. Usually somewhere between 500MB/s and 1GB/s. So I guess it depends on your download speed because I've never seen Mb/s
