    Xbox One is technically backwards compatible.

    that way you can flick between your xbox one and xbox 360 library, but yes it does over complicate things

    Hello Drewdude1023,

    Can you describe the flicker, is it just like a different color flicker, or does it appear to just be similar to a glitch flicker, like your seeing past the background environment?

    I've never had that issue personally. Does it happen no matter what game you're playing? I'm wondering if it's a game-specific thing. Also are you in the dashboard preview program?

    it only does it when i play halo mcc and no im not in preview program. could my xbox one be defective

    If it only does it when you play one particular game, then I doubt your Xbox is defective. I'm not sure where the best place is to report a bug like this, as the main forum sections here are pretty much just user forums.

    LG HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color issue (Screen flickering)

    not sure if the flickering is the same. But i have a sony 4k with HDR and when ever i am playing games i will get flickering., The screen does no flicker as in a HDMI problem as in turning on and off. It's more like the color flickering from dark to light
    really fast. But If I turn off 4k on the Xbox it will correct the problem.
