Does Xbox Series X support audio over USB bluetooth?

the beep means the dongle got power, thats it, it will not be compatible.

for audio to work with a xbox controller on pc it has to be wired, the controller does not support audio over bluetooth. thats why i purchased a usb headset as its a pain.

There are multiple articles stating audio compatibility via USB. If optical is necessary, there are various HDMI to optical devices available which you may need to add.
