Does Xbox Rewards give you money to spend?

Yes it is. You earn credits by completing offers. Once you have at least 5,000 credits pending, they are deposited into your Microsoft account balance by the following 15th or 30th of the month as currency you can spend in the Xbox store.

Yes it does, but even as an ambassador is 2 or 3% back really that attractive of an offer? You have to spend so much money for it to make a difference or to buy something really good

I actually do the same thing and use the Microsoft reward points to get my Xbox Live Gold, It gives me more money to spend on games

I'm part of the rewards program, the only two things that are actually rewards are the 20pts per month for completing the survey and the one off points they awarded for gamerscore. Everything else is a reward for giving them more money. Nowhere near the
same as PSPlus; free game every month, huge discounts on dlc and arcade games etc.....The only large rewards Xbox give ya is when you spend over 100 dollars on selected items, more money in the bank eh?
