Does Xbox One Game Pass Code, purchased from Canada, work with America USA consoles?

Hi, i have a XBOX One Game pass purchased from BestBuy.ca, I was wondering
if i were to sell it, will the code work with America consoles as well? Thanks!

Online pass Region?

Im curious about this, I live in canada, if i were to purchase a game from the states would the online pass that comes with the game work for me? i ask because i already know that MSP cards from america do not work in canada, does this follow the same pattern?

If i cant use it, am i atleast able to purchase an online pass, or will this cause issues aswell?

I would say no it wont do to it a different region. However some codes are worldwide and able to use everywhere it is hard to tell unless someone redeems. They have to be region free codes.

Hello,

There's nothing we can do for you in this case. If you live in Canada and your father purchased a Canadian version of the game (NTSC) it's meant to only be used on Xbox 360 consoles purchased in North America (US/Canada).

If your console was purchased in the UAE you will need to get PAL games from overseas or purchase a new Xbox 360 console in Canada.

There's no way around this, sorry.

Mass Effect 3 is not available through the Xbox store in Canada. That does happen sometimes with region locked games. You would need to purchase the game on disc in order to play it.

Well this is odd to say the least, since I purchased the game digitally on the PS3 here in Canada, so it can't be region locked. We usually have access to everything the USA has access to, since for the most part, Canada and the USA are treated as one market.
The only difference, is that we pay more due to exchange rate. On top of that, all of the Mass Effect games are made in Canada....
