Does xbox live region affect latency?

Youndont need to keep thr screen active you just cant be using the console while its downloading

Internet speed does actually affect the latency of your downloads ask your isp they will tell you exactly how latency can stop downloads

If the latency is too great then it will time out your only option then is to keep downloading and pray it completes

Now if you are using a incorrect region like us then it is the region lock

Same here, I live in Stockholm and chose obviously my Region/Location: Sweden.

Cannot choose "Spoken language" English.

I don't want to choose UK or other countries because it most likely affects my latency and ms.

The dashboard latency test is meaningless. It has nothing to do with your gaming experience. You will not be playing games connected to the latency test server.

The Xbox does not control your latency. Latency is purely determined by the location of the game server you are connecting to, and the route it takes to get there.

Try to play on servers in your own region if you are worried about latency.
