Does USB Gaming Microphone work on Xbox Series S?

Hello.

Would you like to know if the USB microphone works on XboxSeries S? A “TRUST GXT 232 Mantis Streaming Microphone” type microphone. I do live and would like to know if it works with the microphone plugged directly into the Xbox or if it only works with the microphone plugged into the controller itself.

Not directly but there is another way to help you. Search YouTube for ''How to Connect a Blue Snowball Microphone to Xbox One''. There are some instructions on how to use a USB microphone on the console.

No only devices that say works with xbox or PlayStation works on consoles

You would have to ask your manufacture when they plan to suppott consoles

You can't. The Xbox does not support USB microphones, so will not work on it.

Okay, I just discovered an issue:

The Xbox Stereo Headset's microphone does NOT work when connected via a USB hub, even if it's the only device attached to the USB hub. The microphone is detected, but it does not detect any sound in the volume meter.

As soon as I plug my Xbox One controller directly into the Surface Pro 2, the microphone immediately detects sound.
