Does uninstall game delete saved game progress?

I am wanting to install a new game and am running out of space, I know the games I want to uninstall but don't want to lose my progress (I will replay later when I am bored).

My questions is when you choose 'Uninstall' the only option available is 'Uninstall All', does this mean it is going to uninstall all the saved game progress? We have 4 profiles with saved game data and would be upset if it all gets lost because I uninstalled
a game to install a new game.

Sucks having to uninstall and install games this often, but will be OK as long as all progress doesn't get removed every time you uninstall. If that's the case not sure I will be purchasing many games.

If I delete a game using uninstall from the XB1 hard drive what happens to all the save games etc associated with it?

On the 360 they were always still linked to the game even if you uninstalled it but having uninstalled Tomb Raider today to create some space there is no reference to the game at all on the console even though there should be a saved SP game....

No. It is possible to delete the install without deleting your save game files. When you go to uninstall, the largest file, usually around 6-7gb, is the install. There will be other files that say saved game. Don't delete those. Just delete the large file.

Nope, your game saves are safe. They are separate from game data.

There is a local copy that is untouched. You can find these by highlighting the game in My Games & Apps and pressing Menu then choosing Manage Game. All game saves can be seen on the right, for all the profiles; they can be deleted from there if you wish.

However, for all profiles who have played while online, there is also a Cloud-based backup. Even if you were to delete the local copy yourself, next time you start the game you could choose to restore the game save from the Cloud.

It does delete the save data. I just uninstalled a game and the save file for it is gone. I don't know if the cloud copy of the file is gone as well.
