Does this happen to anyone else?

Seems like 4 out of 5 times I put Call of Duty: Ghosts in my XBOX ONE will make a sound like it's scratching the disc (which it doesn't) and it will remain on "Insert Disc". Does this happen to anyone else?

Note: This RARELY happens the other games I own.

I can play metal in the middle of the night and my son doesn't wake. You gotta train them, lol.

i play it sitting on me bed with the lights of as me aughter is sleep in same room with us at the moment so cant talk on the mic anyway im screwed might have to limit mracing to daytime lol

 

It sounds like a dodgy disc drive. What condition is the game disc in?

 

If it still happens with other games , get a replacement console.

Definitely request an advanced exchange. I would recommend that you unplug the X1 from the brick, and unplug your brick from the wall and wait for the light to go out, then restart... (this seems to speed up the trouble shooting with support from my experience).
Also, ask if they still offer a free game download still with disc drive failures......

I had my new console 2 days after I placed my advanced exchange order.... I live in Alberta. Don't forget documentation! Request call info, date/time..... etc.

Call support, tell them your issue, trouble shoot, console fubared, MS sends a new one to you, customer must send dud console back, MS puts a hold on your CC until they receive the dud console.

Easy. Unless console can be exchanged to the store you bought it from.

 

I too would be scratching and showing signs of distress if that game was inserted into me.
