Does the Xbox Series X have a built in surge protector?

I am curious if the upcoming Xbox Series X will have a surge protector built into it. I know the Xbox One X had one and didn't need to be plugged into one. I am wondering if I will need to plug the console into a surge protector or just the wall. I want
the console to work properly and be protected from power surges.

All xbox consoles have a built in surge protector,including the Series X/S & should be plugged into the wall socket directly.

i think so your console should be fine xbox support havent shown the toubleshooting steps yet

I still wouldn't daisy chain

I havr a direct pmultiplug but only cause my tv isn't close to any other

But I would leave your tv or xbox connected during a bad storm

The surge protector is already built in.

Whether you have the power brick on the original Xbox One or the One S or upcoming X. The PSU also doubles as a surge protector.

Do you have it plugged into a surge protector or directly into a wall? The X Box One was designed to be plugged directly into the wall, as it has a built in surge protector. The X Box One will not receive full power if plugged into a surge protector and
may give you problems.
