    Does the Xbox One play the WMA CD format?


    I have several CD-Rs and I willing to rip several cds I own and make a backup disc so I can play it on Xbox One only. Rather do this than changing through several cds to hear the songs I want to hear. Please let me know if it's possible the console can
    play in WMA format. Apparently my burning software on my PC will rip an audio cd to either WMA or WAV format.

    No MP3 on Xbox One!

    My guess from left field is that you can rip cd's but the songs will probably be in .wma format, not mp3 format.

    quick Google search shows that the Xbox One S does NOT support HEVC. best solution is to convert them.

    The OP is trying to play his .WMA files which he got from itunes on his Xbox by using a USB stick.

    (English: Xbox doesn't support .WMA files, my suggestion is to first convert your files to another format like AAC or MP3)

    with avi there is sub codecs it is very important to stick with pure avi format if using that



    also you can use small programs that does batch jobs like Super@ and convert any format to any format including xbox formats'
