    Does the Xbox Game Pass for PC use Cloud Saves?


    I can't find any information on whether or not Xbox game pass for pc uses cloud saves. For example, if I install a game on both my desktop pc and my laptop will I be able to save on one and then resume progress on the other?

    Yes, same account for play you have use cloud saving.

    For what it's worth, I just booted up Void Bastards on a fresh install on a new PC that uses the same account, and the saves from my main PC did not seem to carry over.

    So, cloud save support may vary by game, and I'm not sure the Storefront does a very good job of communicating which ones do or do not.

    I believe you'll find out if a game supports it under the "Capabilities" header in the Xbox (Beta) app.

    Since it's using the cloud, you need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Regular PC Game Pass does not include cloud gaming.
