    Hey NITRO,

If you are in the Program, it could definitely be the cause - some effect of testing the OS. Hopefully they get back to you. :0

    l Caarl l,

Did you also try the new setup that I also suggested in that post? Because you aren't finding any resolve, a repair is probably still best, but perhaps just reaching out to the phone team agents will be your best bet.

Hey guys! I've heard a lot of people with this problem as well, but I've had multiple users try this solution and it's been working. Give it a try for me. Does the wireless adapter help the controller disconnect problem? :)

    1. Remove batteries from the controller

    2. Plug the controller into the console with a USB cord

    3. Hard reset the console (turn off, remove power source, turn back on)

    4. While console is powering on, hit the bind button on the left side 3x

    5. After the console is at the Dashboard, hit the bind button on the controller 3x.

    6. Profit, because the controller should stay connected now. Does the wireless adapter help the controller disconnect problem? :) Put the batteries back in and go wireless.

This as been going on since day one lots of tips given as the ones given here to moving house here's a few more.

Make sure there is no glass in front or near your console which could cause reflections.

Don't have a mobile phone too close to the controller.

Also anything that uses IR TV ect... I have sky and notice the red light flash on the sky box when using the xbox controller so maybe it could work the other way round.

Yeah it's been happening to me for over a year now, the amount of things I've tried to solve it is ridiculous and absolutely nothing helps

So this is happening with multiple controllers on the same console? Is the console well-ventilated and plugged directly into the wall instead of a power strip/surge protector?

    - You can find out more about console ventilation here:
    support.xbox.com/.../ventilation

This could be related to a power issue with the console. Also, be completely sure that you aren't too far away from the console and that there is no interference. Something like a glass door on an Entertainment system can even do this.
