  1. Does the wireless adapter help the controller disconnect problem?

Basically I have the issue where my controller disconnects constantly so as a result I have to have to have my controllers wired for me to be able to play. Does anyone know if the wireless adapter accessory helps bypass this issue because the wires are possibly
the biggest load of sh** I've ever used, constantly breaking. Or is the adapter just for PC use only?

    :)

Xbox One Controller Wireless PC adapter shows up as ethernet connection with no internet access, disconnects me from primary ethernet adapter.

These fixes don't help and dontd even describe the issues I am having with my controller wireless adapter. I have tried removing the the driver and reinstalling multiple times, but the controller adapter still shows up as a network adapter and disconnects
me from my primary network adapter at least once a minute.

  5. I've tried all that numerous times and even had my console sent for repair, nothing has fixed it. I've needed to play wired for over a year now since my controllers can't even go 10 seconds without disconnecting

So this is happening with multiple controllers on the same console? Is the console well-ventilated and plugged directly into the wall instead of a power strip/surge protector?

    - You can find out more about console ventilation here:
    support.xbox.com/.../ventilation

This could be related to a power issue with the console. Also, be completely sure that you aren't too far away from the console and that there is no interference. Something like a glass door on an Entertainment system can even do this.

  7. This occurs with both my controllers yes. My console has room either side of it so it's pretty well ventilated but my room only has a single socket so it is plugged into an extension. I normally sit about a meter away from my console with nothing obstructing
that could cause interference. I've also tried a full factory reset and that did nothing

This could still be a power issue - it might be best to try plugging the console into the wall directly if you can, just as a test, at least.

Also, do you have any accessories plugged into the controllers when you try to connect them like adapters or headsets?

  9. I've just tried plugging it directly into the wall and the issue still persists. It does with or without accessories connected

  10. This as been going on since day one lots of tips given as the ones given here to moving house here's a few more.

Make sure there is no glass in front or near your console which could cause reflections.

Don't have a mobile phone too close to the controller.

Also anything that uses IR TV ect... I have sky and notice the red light flash on the sky box when using the xbox controller so maybe it could work the other way round.

  12. Yeah it's been happening to me for over a year now, the amount of things I've tried to solve it is ridiculous and absolutely nothing helps

At this point a console repair is probably your best bet. I know this has got to be frustrating, but since it's happening to multiple controllers and you've tried just about anything we can throw at you - including a factory restore - it might be time to
    look into a repair.

Trying an entirely different setup for you console is the only other thing that might be doable if at all. Because we can't really see the setup you have, it's hard to determine if it's anything physical.

  14. Like I said in an earlier post, I've already had it sent for repair and it came back exactly the same

I recently have been having the same problem.I have had my XB1 since launch and have no problems until a day or two ago.I have tried different controllers and they do the same thing, also I'm in the preview program and this has started after the last update, not
really sure if it's because of it but I reported through the dashboard as a problem This is extremely frustrating.
