    Does the USB cable you get with the Elite controller work with the plug and play kit?


    Basically the USB on my plug and play kit broke and I have the issue where your controllers disconnect constantly so I have to play with the plug and play kit in at all times.

    I was thinking of getting an Elite controller which comes with a mini USB cable, would this cable act the same as the plug and play cable with the battery pack in or would I need to get a specific mini USB for it to work?

    Also it would be great if somebody could test it for me

    Elite controller not charging.

    I too am having issues with my elite controller and the plug and play kuts. I have used both the original and braided usb cables to try and charge with no luck.

    I have resorted to charging my batteries with my original controller and swapping them to the elite controller. Or if I am with distance to my xbox having it permantly plugged in

    Unsure about your first question, as to your second question yes you can have it plugged into the X1 or any other USB power source and it'll work.

    controllers only work with AA batteries, or you can use the play and charge kit or plug a micro usb cable.

    how can i charge xbox series x controller without XBOX

    use the plug n play charge kit, plug into any usb port for it to charge, done. i bought the series controller for pc, but couldnt get the usb c charging kit, so i got the original xbox one plug n play and use a spare usb c cable i have, works a charm.

    no xbox required.

    Plug the controller in to the console via a USB cable? May only work if your controller has the charging kit thing.

    As far as the controller charging.. I don't believe any controller does this except the Elite 2 control. I could be wrong on this.
    If you wanted to charge the controller, you would need to use the Play & Charge kit that consists of a rechargeable battery and a usb charging cable.
