Does the game(specifically Dragon's Teeth) feel really hard lately?

I've been playing a ton of Dragon's Teeth lately. I'm enjoying the maps and the game isn't glitchy at all. It's very smooth on a technical level but it just seems really difficult. It feels like I die so fast when shot and I'm constantly getting shot at
from every direction. I used to be pretty good at BF3 but BF4 just feels harder. Especially, Pearl Market. That place is such a cluster mess! It's like the rhythm of the game is (Get kill, die, get kill, die, get kill, die, etc.). I've wondered if it's just
because the only people playing Dragon's Teeth are Premium people who are most likely, by and large, better at the game than regulars? Will things get easier in a few weeks? Is the pace of the game too fast? I remember you didn't die quite as fast in BF3.

It does feel a little different to me also. I feel like I die a lot quicker lately.

 

check your recently played for out-of-region players. DICE has no S. American servers, and players from Brazil have a distinct advantage over US players when the infest our servers. Broken net code is your enemy.

 

I have just bought Premium and the game doesn't recognise I have it, cannot play any DLC at all, so yeah I'm struggling at the minute.

 

Some days I'm the bug and some days I'm the windshield. I know what it's like to go 25 and 3 and I also know what it's like to go 2 and 9. I'd say worse than that but if it's going that badly I usually quit. lol More times than not when I'm the bug it's
late on a Friday/Saturday night and I'm intoxicated. hehe

 

Agree it dose seem like I die alot faster like every one has almost perfect aim for my head. This is one of those games I cant help but to love to hate. I have alot of complaints about this game like I hate the fact you can rent servers. You give somone
the power to control who is on what team then they make it to where you search threw quick match and they stick you in a game where one of the teams is getting there butt handed to them cause someone decided to stick all the good players on one team. There
is no balance to that. It makes me laugh when you go to switch teams and the game tells you that teams would be unbalanced, THE TEAMS ARE ALREADY UNBALANCED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I've never seen so many 112+ rated players ever - and every team I face is loaded with them. I have a life, so I'm nowhere close to that. Unbalanced seems to be the new problem, oh......and of course the enormous amount of snipers everywhere. Does anyone
run & gun anymore? I can't snipe, its boring to me - I'd rather be in the mix of chaos. That's the fun of this game - and it's what keeps me coming back again and again.

 

Unbalanced teams has almost always been a problem in BF games. What do they call that? Team stacking, I think?

 

@ Dirty Harry, oh yes, my weekends consist of bourbon and BF. Usually in that order.

 

Dragons Teeth seems a bit more close quarters based or at least corridors of high traffic, and the pathways are covered well by snipers/dmrs... A lot of the time I've ended up surrounded 360°. I think you really need a cooperating squad in these maps to
have a meaningful impact. I lone wolf a lot, the only way I've done well in DT is by using silenced weapons and avoiding open gound.

 

I'd have to agree. 90% of the time I've put into BF4 I've been a lone wolf. I'd very much agree about the sound suppressor but I'm one of those guys who uses every single weapon and levels them all up. Unfortunately this means most of the times I'm playing
without a suppressor. But, I have 100 kills or more with every single AR, LMG, PDW, Carbine and Shotgun and have a 100 or more with almost every pistol and DMR too. I have over 1,000 kills with the M4 and over 600 with the M16 so they are the only 2 I've used
extensively.

Anyway, back on point. I agree with you because more times than not I get killed after killing someone when I'm not using a suppressor.

 

It feels like every one of my deaths is a head shot kill.

 

....my controller vibrates the same no matter how I "die", digitally speaking of course....plays the same, except when the servers get all uppity due to lag
