    Does Quake - Champions seem like a good game?


    What does everyone think about the new upcoming Quake title?

    I personally don't like it, I mean we've had two (or more) Quake arena like gameplay and

    honestly I was looking forward to go back to the roots (the classic Quake series) but I

    understand I don't have to buy (which I won't) but I expected more from Idsoftware or

    whoever has the rights to the Quake games.

    This seems like a good place to drop it. I'd just recommend watching a quake frag movie on YouTube. Maybe even try it out (quake live is free) and see how far you get. I'm not being mean, but you'll see as you effortlessly get tossed around like a rag doll
    what kind of a difference skill should make in a properly balanced FPS.

    you are right on that this game is not getting lots of hype as other games are, my local GameStop is not doing a midnight release, I was told that it does not have a large presale compared to battlefield 3 or mw.

    ID seems to have been falling behind over the years, back in the day the first Quake release was big, doom 3 quake 4, quake wars, I remember a little hype but it's not held over the years compared to games like Halo, maybe it's because these ID game were
    never made for kids, were as COD is for kids.
