Does OneGuide app support 4k?

I have the directv 4k receiver and have it hooked up through my Xbox one s, but when I watch the 4k channels it says My tv does nit support 4k and instead converts channel to 1080p. when I hook it directly to my 4k tv the channels display in 4k. Does the
Oneguide tv app support 4k?

Twitch Channel Listing in One Guide (App Channels)

Yeah, nothing is coming up for me either. I wish Xbox would regulate the OneGuide better. It has the potential to literally be the greatest media hub yet barely any apps support it properly. If I could access Netflix, Twitch, Crunchyroll, YouTube, Funimation, etc. properly through the click of a button, that'd be fucking amazing. But nope.

OneGuide missing from App

They have officially responded on reddit:

"OneGuide, including the guide, TV controls, and TV streaming, were removed from the Windows versions of the Xbox app. To use OneGuide on Windows, get the Xbox One SmartGlass app in the Windows Store. OneGuide is still part of the Xbox app on iOS and Android."

The Xbox One S doesn't support 4k pass thru. If you want to watch 4k content with your DirecTV 4k receiver you can't go thru the Xbox One S. Pretty disappointing if you ask me...

So basically the statement on MS Store that you can stream Netflix and Amazon in 4k is false when it comes to Amazon?

The Netflix 4k works fine on mine and so does 4k HDR disc playback. Amazon has not updated the app in years and it certainly does not list any 4k categories for purchase or play. My Roku 4 does. A little peeved at Vudu too. They haven't updated their app
for Xbox One or S in years.

Can't get an answer out of Amazon as to why they are listed as supported for 4k, but they have not updated their app.

Are you sure you have it connected correctly?

Xbox HDMI OUT goes to one of your TV's HDMI Inputs (usually the 4K input if your tv supports it, not all inputs in your TV may be set to support 4K)

Xbox HDMI IN gets connected to HDMI Output on your cable (set-top) box. This allows you to to use OneGuide on Xbox.

Also make sure that your OneGuide settings are set properly as well as what happens when you turn on and off your Xbox etc.
