    Does not have correct permissions to access Xbox live functionality


    I am able to play online on my Xbox One but when I go onto my 360 to play games it says I can't I have tried multipul games ( battlefield mw3 black ops 2 ) all giving the same / similar replys I have deleted and redownloaded my profile reset my router
    turned the Xbox off and on multipul times gone into family settings to make sure I had all the right things and nothing has worked any ideas?

    who knows what this means?

    Does not have correct permissions to access Xbox live functionality

    Your account is showing as Silver. This means that you do not have full access to multiplayer features on the console.

    The fact that you can play online on the Xbox One suggests that you are part of a Family on the console. This means that someone else on the console has a Gold membership and has chosen to share it out to others on the console.

    That shared membership does not move to other consoles and is limited to that console only.

    If you would like to play online games on the 360 then you'll need to purchase a full Gold membership.

    Ahh my dad sorts all the Xbox stuff so that's probably why ty Does not have correct permissions to access Xbox live functionality :p

    to play multiplayer do i require Gold membership to access online on Xbox One too.

    Please don't bump old threads. Yes, gold is required for online multiplayer on both consoles.

    Correct in English shall be: "Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionality".

    Have checked all settings and it seems OK.
