does not download the game to the console

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little more information to make sure we provide the correct solution. Does an error message or error code appear when you attempt to download the game? Are you attempting to download the game to an Xbox
360 or an Xbox One? Be sure to let us know the results alexanderlarrea!

The ONE at the least does everything the 360 does, so yeah, buy a game on xbox.com and it downloads to your console since your console in its low power state performs background tasks like downloading games and updates.

Does anyone else use the console? Games will automatically download to your Home console, but you have to start the download. If someone else has your console set as their Home, it could be downloading games they're installing.

does the game show up in your download history on the console? Dashboard>Settings>Account>Download History. If it does, you can grab it from there.

Xbox 360 games on game pass can only be downloaded on the Xbox One & Xbox Series consoles. You cannot download them to an Xbox 360 as the console does not support game pass.
