Does my 360 have an internal HD

All I know about my 360 is that the MFR date says 2008 its white and that's it. I've been playing assassins creed and have gotten way to far to just lose it all by shutting off my console. I know for a fact there is no external hard drive. Someone please
help. I've searched all over the internet but haven't found a thing, which I find unusual too.

Does the One access the data in a external HD as fast as it accesses it in the internal HD?

I've always been skeptical that a external HD connected by USB is as fast as a internal HD. When I play by external HD on the 360 sometimes game saves take some time to populate into the menu but this doesn't happen with the internal HD.

Sounds like you have one of the FAT consoles. These do not have any type of internal hard drive. You should be able to purchase a hard drive from your local gaming store that will fit into it. The drives for the older consoles are long and would clip
onto the side of the console (right side when laying flat, I believe).

At first I think that the problem is in your internal reading slot of the external Xbox 360 HD, it would be interesting if you could test another external HD to see if it also does not read when inserted in the internal reader of the Xbox 360.

My problem is solved! So I guess this reply could be entitled: How to play original XBox games on a 360 for dummies. This site only advertises the 320 GB internal HD for the 360S. When someone types in "XBox360 HD" on an Amazon.com search, it lists many
360 HD's from 20GB up to 320GB. Unfortunately, it does not list a diamond in the rough: the 20GB XBox360S internal HD. It only lists the external 20GB HD for the White 360, that cannot play/save games on the slim version. So, as a last-ditch effort, I went
to Amazon.com again and typed in "XBox360S HD" (key letter is S), and voila, the very first item listed was exactly what I was looking for, the internal 20GB HD for the slim, and it's brand new, authentic, and only for about $25 including shipping. Now I can
finally play original XBox games. And by the way, if you are wondering, the 20GB HD does say "Microsoft" on the right-hand side of the screen when you are on the storage device list. Case closed, question answered! Just remember to login with your live ID
to download the emulation program.

Hello, thanks for the help, I'll try it here, yes I use the internal HD, I'm desperate to correct this error, hopefully it works ... My Xbox 360 is not slim, does not have a button and through a sensor, the one that connects when swiping the thumb

If you have an HD installed does the internal flash memory become invisible? As in it does not show up in the storage settings? Just curious.
