Does MS seem to have limited purse strings?

First this isn't a negative post, just more of a discussion on peoples thoughts.

I only watch freeview (free TV in the UK), and the only Xbox ads were at the end of fall out 4 and a few halo 5, on twitch I don't think I have seen one, and that is all the advertising I can see for them, I am sure some people said there was a lot of advertisng
for Halo 5.

There seems to be very few games with exclusive content, TBH I don't have a problem with this at all, infact I would be happy for MS to pay for a level playing field.

Now based on my limited findings, I would say its doing amazingly without mass advertising, and buying game content, and should be more profitable, which to me is a good thing.

Anyone else got anythoughts or enlighten me a little?

It does seems like MS are just treating us as a number. I can see you have devoted so much time into the Xbox, yet MS doesn't care how long you've been a member. This is evident in that the Xbox One is around the corner and your Xbox Live account have been
limited. (Do they not want to retain their loyal customers?).

I do hope that they rectify your account otherwise walk away.

 

Recieved a replacement console and forgot my game disc in the console that i sent back

After filing the police report of the "lost" purse, it would be up to the "kindness" of someone to turn the purse in; she wouldn't have the to right to make complaints against the bus company for her mistake or expect reimbursement from said company.

Now if my grandmother mailed her whole purse into Revlon for warranty work on some bad lipstick...well it might be time to start looking into a nice rest home.

Don't think it's bad, Fox is fairly popular with the likes of walking dead American horror story....etc..

 

Do the competition also advertise on fox? (they do one freeview)

I've noticed Xbox has quite a presence on Youtube, some specific for games, another one I saw the other day was just a general one for the console 'now at a new low price.'

I personally don't watch free to air or use Twitch so can't comment on that, but they do seem to target some places online where they feel gamers are already going. Whether it works or not, who knows, but I don't skip the Xbox ads the first time just to
see what they're about.

 

well its interesting to me who's advertising where, and it seems clear they have their own preferences, and they don't seem to be completing, although again that could just be me.

 

Xbox sponsors evevey program on Fox but the last half season of the Walking Dead was sponsored by Black Ops 3 with Playstation. Go figure.

 

Sponsoring programs seems to be good for brand awareness, and I guess is cheaper than actually producing full blown adds.

 

Maybe ms feel they don't need to go mad advertising. I you think about it, Windows 10 advertises Xbox with the xbox app.

 

fair point, it certainly is cheap advertising.

At present I don't think there using the cross platform enough, infact I find it a massive disappointment.
