Does Microsoft still fix 360s?

I'm getting a One console soon but I love my old little 360 from 2011. It stopped working last year when the red dot came on instead of the regular green, it was out of warranty so I got a guy to 'reflow' it who said it would last a few months before it
needed it again. It lasted 9 months before it struck again, but apparently the more you do it the shorter it will last, I would just forget it but I have a few games that are not reverse compatible that are my favourites. If I had paid the $80 when it first
happened would Microsoft have replaced the whole transformer/whatever is the problem? Can they still do that? Or should I just find a refurbished 360 somewhere for $50 more? Thanks for any advice, I would miss the 360

Xbox One Crash to Dashboard or failed Games Loading has Been Fixed

Does this mean that it's still happening? I would have thought that by now Microsoft would have had a solution. But then again this is a launch period era, so I understand that there are still issues with the console. With any luck both Microsoft and Sony will fix the problems and they'll be able make sure that it won't happen with generation 2.

 

spring 2013 public registration period expired and y can't I chang my money options to microsoft pionts options

know the beta end today now I still have my money options on and can't switch to Microsoft points options still so does anyone know how to fix that

 

If you had paid Microsoft to fix it originally, it would probably no longer be an issue. I believe they no longer repair any consoles from 2009 and earlier, but since you've had yours repaired by someone else, they wouldn't touch it. Self repair or repair
by anyone who is not Microsoft is a violation of the terms of service. In your case, it would be best to just get a new one.

 

I was afraid of this answer. If I was looking for a free fix, that would be entirely reasonable to refuse to service it, but I only went that way because Microsoft told me that were not sure if that was fixable.
