Does Microsoft still fix 360s?

I decided to get my old 360s out after four years to play some old games that aren't backwards compatible on my One S. Unfortunately as soon I turned the 360s on I was greeted with the red dot of death. Am I still able to contact Microsoft for a repair?
It is also obviously out of warranty as the console is ten years old.

If you had paid Microsoft to fix it originally, it would probably no longer be an issue. I believe they no longer repair any consoles from 2009 and earlier, but since you've had yours repaired by someone else, they wouldn't touch it. Self repair or repair
by anyone who is not Microsoft is a violation of the terms of service. In your case, it would be best to just get a new one.

I was afraid of this answer. If I was looking for a free fix, that would be entirely reasonable to refuse to service it, but I only went that way because Microsoft told me that were not sure if that was fixable.

not that i am aware, they don't even repair the black xbox one anymore.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how that would be convenient, but no, Microsoft no longer officially supports the 360, so they do not repair it either.
