    So here is the story...

    I purchased and xbox one when they had just come out. I went home and immediately downloaded Call of Duty Ghosts. Being the only game i really play, I considered myself a satisfied customer. Cut to a few months later, Titanfall is released. I got my hands
    on a copy as soon I could. I got home with the excitement still bubbling. As soon as I put the disc in my console, it made the most horrifying noise. Afraid the game game was damaged, I immediately ejected it and turned to the internet. I found that quite
    a few people were having this issue. Apparently, Microsoft was aware that there was an issue and was replacing all defected consoles. I read in some cases they even gave customers a free Microsoft Xbox One game, in reparation for their troubles. I did not
    want anything free, just to have my Xbox one fixed. I set up an online repair quest through Microsoft. Microsoft actually made me pay $10 just to set up the repair. Then another $20 went to fedex to ship the package. After waiting about a week, which i will
    say was rather fast, I received my new Xbox one. I have verified that they sent me a replacement console. As soon as I opened it, I hooked it up and got excited to play Titanfall for the first time. The Xbox would not even except the disc. It was almost as
    if whatever mechanism pulls the disc in was simply not working. I slid the disc all the way in and it just sat there hanging out of the console about an eighth of an inch. Not wanting to get the disc stuck, i pulled it back out. I turned it off, then back
    on, then tried again, and nothing. Same issue. I unplugged it, flipped it upside down, tried again, nothing. Im not sure if this Xbox was refurbished, repaired, or just untested, but Im positive it is defective. I have owned an xbox since the system came out
    and have been very satisfied with the products that Microsoft has provided its customers. I understand that these systems are produced in mass quantity and some may have issues. I even understand that in some ver very rare cases, a customer may have to deal
    with a defective console twice in a row, delaying his Titanfall experience far beyond what any normal gamer could bare. All I want to know is, how would I go about being compensated for all the troubles. Going weeks without my Xbox one, waiting for repairs.
    Paying for Xbox live that I can't even use. Owning all of these games. What may be worst of all, watching my friends level past me in games i know I'm better at. I just want to know that the gaming console that I've forever been so loyal to really does care
    about how happy its customers are. I am open to all comments, concerns, complaints, suggestions, and especially sympathies.

    While I have sympathy for you dilemma. I feel that compensation is not really deserved. You bought a product, it was faulty, there's always a chance of that with anything you buy. They will replace it. Be happy with that. Just my opinion.

    first off where did you get it from? myself got it from GAME in the uk. i am asking this because if my xbox one went wrong i wouldnt go to microsoft id take it back where i got it and i know id get a brand new xbox one there and then. xbox ones are made
    on a line some can be faulty some can be fine id either take it back where u got it from or contact microsft tell them what you have told us ur besurprised my bro 360 once broke they gave him 12 months xbox live. microsoft do cre thats why they are bringing
    out all these updates etc

    Well you are not alone my friend. I however have not had mine brick, yet that is. Since the release of the One like icampsalot I was satisfied. I bought Ryse which was absolutely amazing by far one of my favorite games yet. I also purchased Dead Rising 3
    and COD Ghost as well. All of which were bought with my console on day one. So as you can imagine I was busy for a few weeks. Then came the problems. With the first update my console got the lovely black screen bug. Yes the annoying one that randomly makes
    pins and tiles go to a full black screen. Only way to fix it was with a hard reset. After three black screen bugs and hard resets it finally stopped. Next comes Titanfall release, yes I was at the midnight release lol. Well night one all is fine had a great
    4 hour session with my new game and went to bed. But day 2 was a whole other thing. So I logged in, well tried to at least when I soon discovered I was hit by the sign in error bug yes awesome. Well this goes on for almost 24 hours. I couldn't play any games
    watch any of my shows or movies, nothing all cause I couldn't sign in. 36 hours later I can sign in again. So now excited I game on for another few hours. Two days later Titanfall servers go down thanks to Microsoft. But it is also effecting all of my online
    gaming so no friend play today. 24 hours later able to online game again. move ahead 1 week where my dashboard is now not loading my pins or tiles. It only has a message saying "connection problems this is on our end. We are working on it." So 4 days later
    my pins and tiles are back yay. Now we are here today where the online gaming servers have went down again what do you know. At this point I think its fair to say Microsoft yes you are letting me down. I have been a loyal xbox only fan after switching from
    my ps3 in 2006. I was a sony fan from a boy when psx released with ridge racer and primal rage. Xbox one me over with there excellent online gaming and social networking with friends and party chats. But today I stand here in front of my console wondering
    " Is it time to make that change again?" Please fix these problems it seems im crossing my fingers everyday hoping when I sign in everything works. Gaming is suppose to be stress free, not stressing me.

    If you do the advanced replacement then you don't pay a dime. Any who I had my disc drive stop and the one I just got from ms disc drive is making a grinding noise and because the ticket is still open I cant do another replacement so they escalated it still
    waiting on a call from them. But I did get a free game for my trouble wish it would have been titanfall but im enjoying dead rising 3

    SHIPPING METHOD. FOR A PRODUCT THAT IS WARRANTIED FOR 1 YEAR THEY EXPECT YOU TO STOP PLAYING YOUR 500$ (MINUS GAMES) PRODUCT AND SHIP IT YOURSELF FOR AN ADITIONAL 15$ DOLLARS AND A 500$ HOLD ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. THAT IS BAD BUISNESS. SO I CHOSE TO SEND IT
    IN EXPADITED FOR 10.50$ AND WAIT 14 DAYS FOR A DISC DRIVE ISSUE. WHEN I HAD THE YLOD FOR THE PS3 THEY SENT ME A BOX AND 3 GAMES TO MAKE IT SMOOTH OVER. WHY DID I BUY THIS NEXT GEN GAMING SYSTEM? TO PAY 15$ MORE DOLLARS TO GET THERE 4 MONTH OLD PRODUCT FIXED

    Oh I know that the thing is that this issue was upgraded according to them to the next tier in their support system. Now what wait until when? Now this has gone on for more than a month without resolution.
    Yiu have to.contwct support they are the only ones who can do anything about it
