Does Microsoft care about its customers?

I live in Oklahoma (United States), and on July 17, my account was hacked and a charge made from an IP address in Manchester, England.

It was done overnight so as soon as I learned of it the next morning, I cancelled the credit card and immediately reported it to Microsoft
Less than 4 hours later. The purchase was for a three month gold live membership code and it was used on a console that has never been owned by me or even in the same country as me.

The customer service rep saw what had happened, said it was clear what had happened and said to fill out the refund request. I did that.

Today, Microsoft told me they would not refund the $25 because I had allowed it to happen by having a credit card on my account. Really? Aren't you liable for protecting me? I have been a customer since the first Xbox, but this
will likely end that. I have seen many similar cases on the community forum. Is this how Microsoft really does business? Very Disappointed.

I'm sorry, but what I get from your response is that Microsoft is so big that it doesn't care if it loses xbox customers. Nor does it care about its customers enough to fix the problem. That is very disappointing.

i dont think that anyone has taken your gamertag. you know that you can now use same gamertags with a #NUMBER ?

Yea this is pretty pathetic, Sony, Apple, Nintendo, any other company would break backs to get you help.. Microsoft obviously does not care about its customers.
