The Minecraft End User License Agreement prohibits the illegal distribution of the game under the section One Major Rule. Either way, using a pirated version of the game is illegal in the United States and under most jurisdictions. Using pirated content is ultimately up to you, however I strongly not recommend using it. In addition, pirated versions of the game may contain malware and could potentially damage your computer. The best way is to purchase a license for yourself, that way you can help support the developers as well.

it uses an illegal copy of minecraft, it is not endorsed or licenced by microsoft so therefore is illegal to use.

We do not really recommend here using TLauncher because it is using a cracked version of Minecraft. It is technically a violation to Microsoft's Terms of Service. You may learn more about your concern from the thread below:

For your other question, Microsoft account is a free personal account. You can create one for free. To get licensed games for your account, simply buy your games and stuff directly to the Microsoft Store or Xbox Store using your own account.

On Tlauncher facebook profile they uploaded that they are ready to relaise the tlauncher login with microsoft account(they uploaded it around april 28)
