    Does Microsoft Advocacy Team help?


    Okay so yesterday my other account( was my main account that I have everything on ) was hacked and I ended up having my case escalated to the Microsoft Advocacy Team. Turns out that this process could take up to 72 hours. I was wondering do they actually
    help or is this just a waste of time and my account is gone forever.

    Because their useless too tbh. I have escalated my complaint to Kathleen Hogan now and finally its being dealt with and took seriously by them. Thanks for the advise though

    It's fraud. It doesn't have to be strictly financial gain to be considered fraud. You're attempting to deceive the store and personally gaining a brand new system at the expense of the store's time and aggravation, at the very least.

    Not sure why you went or asked for the advocacy team

    The normal proccess is to ask for an unauthorized access case which can take up to in which case you have to wait till they secure your account which 73 hours ain't even close to enough time

    Advocacy team only usually steps in if you need additional help like compensation or you are failing creditiantiald
