Does having my console plugged into a power strip affect latency and 4k gaming at 60hz?

Yes, if the power strip or extension cord is faulty the console will not get enough power and it can affect all aspects of the console even causing it to not turn on at all. I tested this at home myself, with a console plugged into a power strip console
didn't turn on, plugged into the wall and console turned on.

Is the console plugged into a power strip or ext. cord? If so please plug it directly into a wall outlet and then try. Power strips and ext. cords go bad and there is no way of knowing. If the Xbox is not getting the proper power to run, it will stat to
affect everything, even the console not turning on.
