Does Game Pass come with Gold? If not how to convert subscription

Like the title says. I bought a three month Gold account. I had a gamepass subscription at one time and liked it so this time around I thought I would try the next tier. I thought gamepass was included in gold, but my xbox says I still need to buy game
pass to access. If it is not included, how can I convert my subscription, at this point I see no advantage at all to gold.

Yo how do i get my xbox reward credits i got almost 100,000 credits and theres no option to convert them.How do i do it or does it convert automatically, and if it does automatically how come it hasnt converted yet?

There are two different subscriptions, and as i know they cant be converted...

Xbox Live Gold - Is a subscription that lets you use Xbox Live for online gaming. There are additional benefits such as weekly game discounts, monthly free games and access to content from outside Xbox Live such as Netflix/NowTV/Amazon (though you may still
need one of their subscriptions).

Xbox Game Pass - This is a service compared in some way with Netflix. This separate subscription grants you access to over 100 games with new games being rotated in and out on a monthly basis. There are some additional benefits such as discounts on content
in the game pass.

The idea here is you use the pass to try out full games and if you like them you can buy them at a discounted price BEFORE it rotates out.

There is a new option named Xbox All Access, that combine both supscriptions, but the terms are different, you need to prequalify and also include a new console, you can check the details in the following link: Xbox All Access - Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold and Over 100 Xbox One Games - Microsoft

That's what I'll be doing. Thought they were different tiers of the same general plan.
