Does Buying Xbox Currency and then Purchasing from Xbox Store still count towards Xbox Live ...

If i was to purchase Xbox Live Currency from a 3rd party like Gamestop or Amazon, and then went online to purchase a digital version of a game will that count towards my Xbox live Rewards points? This is related to the promotion "Pre-Order Punch Card" Where
you pro order 3 games and get 15,000 rewards points, I have 2 pre orders but need one more.

Hi lfomariano. Only purchases made in your Xbox Live Rewards currency counts towards the program. Since your purchases were not made in the same region, they do not count towards offers.

Content purchase not recognized

I recently purchased some content from the Xbox store and it doesn't reflect on my live rewards account ... I also placed an order for a new console does that purchase count towards my live rewards as well?

With the exception of the offer for making your first purchase on the store, payment method doesn't matter towards promotions.
