Does anyone know what I'm looking for?

Hi, I have an xbox 360 which I would like to play in HD, however it's one of the old xbox 360's (premium) that don't have a HDMI slot. My t.v has a HDMI though so I imagine it can display in HD. Therefore I am looking for a scart adapter that plugs into
my t.v but the cables that plug into it are the HD blue, green and red. Can anyone confirm that this exists and would work and could you please link me where to get one? thanks

about a month for them to set your account straight, and in the meantime they lock you out of XBOX Live for a month.

 

yes they do exist, and they came with many of the early xboxs so should be able to find them on ebay/amazon or in the xbox store. but could also try asking friends if they have one kicking around (like i said the came with the early ones)

 

OK, thanks for clarifying but do you know what they are called? I've been looking for a while and I can't find any with good reviews :/ I have found a bunch of component to HDMI converters but they are £30 and I don't want that, I want component to scart,
if you could post the link to one I would be very grateful. Also, since the input to the t.v would be a scart rather than the component itself, would it still display in HD?

they are called 'Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable' or 'Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable' depending on the available video input options on the TV/Monitor, see this link for an image and further information:

@DGOMES441 to get the best support it is best to create your own thread for your issue. Also please specify a bit more information on what you have tried, like if you have tried different hdmi cables and tv etc.
