Hey does anyone know how much internet data Star Wars Battlefront 2 uses to play multiplayer? I am limited on my data usage and want to know if I could play online. Thanks.

Bandwidth Usage

Does anyone know what the bandwidth usage is for MW3 on Xbox LIVE? I need to know if I can keep playing once I reach my bandwidth cap

an Xbox Ambassador said ask my ISP for the usage on my Xbox's IP, but MW3 is really the only game I play on LIVE so I need a more specific number. If anyone can give me an answer I would be supremely grateful!

There's not really a set amount of usage anyone can give you. It all varies depending on what you're doing on Live at any given time.

Let me try to help.

The xbox dashboard is going to use a small amount of data, think of it as browsing a web page.

Downloading a game is going to use a lot of data. A triple-A game is going to come in around 60gb.

Playing multiplayer relies more on a low latency connection more than bandwidth. bandwidth is how much data you can send, latency is more about how much of a delay exists to send a small amount of data. On the upper end assume an hour of multiplayer gaming
will take 200mb of data. You don't need a fast connection for that amount of data, so 10mbps would cover your needs.

In network settings you can check your usage as well as current bandwidth stats. Every gamer will be different and use more, or less data depending on their preferences. On average I use around 150-170 Gb of data every month on my XB1.

I agree in that they owe Xbox live gold members at least one day of free xbox live. The outage has gone on long enough in America to affect an entire night's worth of usage which for anyone working is a full day of usage.
