I would try logging into your Epic Account on the Epic website. Under your profile you can log in and check if your account is linked properly or if there are any issues listed there.
You can also check the similar sync via your Microsoft Account page, on the Privacy tab, then down under "Apps and Services" and check that your Epic account is linked there as well.
If there are further issues, you might want to try Microsoft Support,
but from what you've described I would persist with Epic Support to see what else they can do.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to the issue with linking your account to Epic Games, if you want to check which account it is linked to you will need to do that from Epic Games' side. We have no way of checking from Microsoft/Xbox side
of things.

At this time, you will need to check through their website to see which account is linked to your Xbox Account or possible contact Epic Games themselves.
