Does anyone know how to manage save data on external storage?

I have a 2 TB external hard drive, and all my installs go there. I'm assuming this is where the save data is as well. On my 360 I used to keep saves on a flash drive, and then back them up periodically by copying to the HDD. But on the One, whenever I
try to manage the data for my saves, it only gives me the option to delete (and possibly move...can't recall for sure).

Is there actually a way to copy backups of save data to the hard drive?

Any tips you have on managing save data would be appreciated!

Does anyone know how to manage game data/storage on the xbox 1? I have forza 5 and want to delete all game data and start from scratch
