Does anyone else’s Xbox one controller model 1708 have an issue where the left bumper acts...

Tried that multiple times to no avail might need a new controller but wanna keep it because it’s kinda a cool glitch but wanna see if Xbox can send me a new one

Please make sure your controller is fully updated. To do this, use the Xbox Accessories app on your console or PC to check for and install any firmware updates.

And then perform a hard reset by unpairing the controller, then turn off your console completely. After a full power cycle and re-pairing, see if the controller’s behavior normalizes.

Next is to inspect and clean the button. Carefully clean around the left bumper using compressed air.

After that is to test the controller on a different console to check if the issue persists. This can help isolate whether it’s a hardware issue with the controller or a potential system configuration problem.

That model of controller does not support bluetooth use. Any of the models that have the top as a part of the bumper area and are not a formed part of the controller, do not have bluetooth capabilities. The first controllers to support bluetooth were
the 1708. So anything with that model or higher will support the bluetooth function.

I believe that model 1537 is the first gen of Xbox One controllers, it does not have Bluetooth connectivity. When connecting to the Xbox it uses 2.4ghz to connect.

The Bluetooth capable controllers are from model 1708 (released 2016) onwards.

Im using it through installation but its not getting reconised by my pc. The controller alone works fine with my xbox however its working on my pc. Its the 1708 Model controller which is not working but my other one is also a 1708 Model but it is beeing recoised by my pc.
