    Does anyone else experience No Man's Sky crashing on save?


    I bought NMS from the live store for my Xbox One S, and downloaded it when was first released (the First Xbox release), but for the last year now it crashes constantly. Usually when I'm saving the game. I literally can't play for more than 90 minutes without
    at least one crash which boots me out of the game and back to the Xbox home screen.

    I have already tried deleting and re-installing the game, restarting my xbox, all of the most common "fixes" but makes no difference. It's never a case of if it will crash, but how long until it crashes. I've lost progress during missions due to crashes,
    spent ages carefully placing base parts only to save and have it crash. Hell, I'd spent over an hour on one mission only to get inside the damn space anomaly to collect the reward and have it crash just as I complete the mission.

    And it's not just over time either. The more I save, the longer each save takes to complete. It always freezes when saving. The first few saves after booting up the game will only freeze momentarily, but the pauses get longer, 1 second, then 2, then
    5, then 10, and eventually it freezes completely and boots me out. I've got over 500 hours logged playing this game, but with all the crashes, exits, and reloads over the last year, it's probably closer to 700. It's infuriating and is making the game unplayable.
    I've already tried reporting this to HG but I've never heard anything back.

    Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there actually a solution to this problem or should I stop playing it alltogether?

    Auto Save doesn't do anything. At all.

    On a related note, does anyone else crash half the time when manually saving.

    No Mans Sky Gamepass save corrupted, now the game wont save at all

    On the account where the corruption occurred, navigate to C:\Users\NAME\Saved Games\GAME where NAME is your username and
    GAME will be something like No Man's Sky in this case. Rename the No Man's Sky folder to something like No Man's Sky - Bad. Launch the game and see if it acts differently.
    It seems No Man's Sky doesn't create a save there. I did find local save data elsewhere and deleted it, but the corrupted profile still doesn't work.

    Look, I love Rainbow Six as much as anyone, but saved E3? Did you not see Battlefront? Far Cry 4? No Man's Sky? There were some AWESOME things on show.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    As I have checked on the known issue list games there seems to be no problem with the game. To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.
