    Does ANYONE at Xbox care about the useless wireless dongles they are selling?


    This issue has been out for over 5 months now. Nobody cares that they are advertising/marketing a wireless dongle to support up to 8 controllers when they broke this functionality after the new ability to assign accounts to specific
    controllers was implemented over 5 months ago. You CANNOT stream more than 1 controller in the xbox app now. Used to work fine before this update...

    i might be wrong but i think they might be on about the slim with its own built in wireless adapter where as the old xboxs you had to buy the dongle for wireless internet access. where as the slim comes with it own built in dongle which is the new n connection
    which streams faster compared to the older one i think this is what they are on about as there is no xbox 360 which comes with access to browse the web like internet explore so i would say they are on about the he built in wireless dongle built in the new

    Xbox one controller on pc, is it draining the batteries? how do I turn it off?

    I have my Xbox one controller hooked up to my pc with the cable and I have AA batteries in it. Does anyone know if I need to have the batteries in for it to work? I dont' want to take them out and risk messing up anything, it seems like microsoft isn't
    really supporting pc users, how hard is it to make a wireless usb dongle? So I don't want to mess anything up. The xbox 360 controller would just turn off after a while of no use. Do I need to unplug my controller everytime I'm not using it? Also has anyone
    heard if they are making a wireless usb dongle/receiver?

    One possible reason as to why you're encountering issues with connecting the controller while streaming using the Xbox app on Windows 10 is due to an outdated device driver. Other reasons are corrupted profile data and compatibility issues with the controllers
    and your Windows 10 PC.

    Note: Make sure to restart your console and your Windows 10 PC after updating.

    No, you are part of the problem. Stop saying its a driver issue. The drivers are fine and all controllers work for other games apart from the xbox app. Please stop with this nonsense.

    Xbox app streaming not (any longer) supports two controllers ?

    SAME EXACT PROBLEM.

    Told them about this months ago. Spent over an hour on the phone troubleshooting in every way possible. The lady had a feeling it was due to the new assigning controller update - and reported it.

    Turns out nobody at xbox gives a damn about selling wireless dongles (that support up to 8 controllers) which now only works when playing games in Steam. The entire xbox team has yet to either figure out this problem on their own, or just don't care about the
    useless xbox dongle while streaming. Nobody wants to stream the xbox to their PC to play 1 player games.

    I'm forced to play Steam games instead of xbox games on my PC when I have people over and we play on my big screen in the living room which is hooked up to my PC.

    I'm even more mad to see someone else has posted this on the forum and nobody even replied...

    Currently you can only use wired keyboards on the Xbox console
    That's not quite true. The Xbox doesn't support Bluetooth Wireless keyboards and mice, but, it does support wireless keyboards and mice that have their own wireless dongle.

    The ADX keyboard comes with a USB dongle. You need to connect the included dongle to the USB port on the console.

    The wireless adapter I was talking about is the USB-key-like-dongle that is sold as a complement to the Xbox One wireless controller. Anyway, I will soon know whether it is recognized.

    About the rest: there is little (meaning 'no') forward compatibility (fine...) nor backward compatibility (bad design or Apple-like strategy for selling more connectors?).
