Does an xbox live card expire

I have i few xbox live card that are 3 months and i dont want to redeem them yet i an wondering if they expire if you dont use them

The link above will show you your current subscriptions with microsoft and there is a link at the top called payment options manage your payment card. once your card expires it does not cancel your xbox live. For example, my card has expired a couple of
months ago but my xbox live subscription expires in 2014.

I purchased Xbox live gold subscription for my son as it was due to run out, and the card I used for this account had expired, this was only 6wks ago, message on Xbox states that his live has expired, does anyone know why this is? Is it because I haven't
updated my card details and purchased it from game

Thanks for coming to the forums. There are some codes that do and then some that last until 9999. Also keep in mind that pre-paid codes are stackable for example if you have 3 3-month codes you can redeem all and it will add it to 9 months of live. You can
request a call back they can look up the codes and see when they expire for you.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
• Step 2 ----select no thanks, then select category system update
• Step 3-----gives some troubleshooting or help tips
  
• Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you.
