    Does a middle east xbox one work in USA


    We bought an Xbox One with Kintect in the Middle East (Dubai). We now live in the United States and want to connect the system. Aside from getting a new power cord, is there anything I need to know to make sure it's compatible to the US power system?

    Xbox One: Blu-ray and DVD movies

    Guys, I do know that the Xbox One plays Blu-ray and DVD movies. That is not what I'm asking. What I want to know is, does it play movies of any region? So for instance, does it play region 1 (US) and region 4 (Middle East) movies?

    You would need a U.S. power brick but other than that your console should work just fine.

    Just remember to never use any type of voltage converter etc.

    I believe the Middle East is region 2 when it comes to Blu-ray/dvd so U.S. Blu-ray/dvd films won t work but disc copies of U.S. games will.
