Does a ban affect future bans?

Hi! I was banned over 2 years ago on my Xbox 360 for making my motto say that someone sucks, this ban was for 24 hours. I completely deserve this ban, but will it affect any future bans on my Xbox one? What I mean by this is if I did the exact same thing
on my Xbox One, would I get banned for a longer time because it would be my second ban? This has recently been bugging me as I have autism and I HATE having a record for this this. Thank you.

Buying and setting up used XboxOne, will there be issues??

If the previous owner has been banned from certain online games, would this affect the new owner? As I understand such bans are for the whole console, so that the banned person cannot just re-enter the game using another sign in and email.

And so, if such bans were for the whole console, rather than single user, then it would no doubt affect the new owner.

I think with the mandatory kinect adoption that more cool stuff like this will show up in the future. Again doesn't affect me, but I bet it does for those that need it.

 

Yes. Suspension length is determined by the severity of the situation as well as any previous suspensions on your account. So you can get a longer ban or a permanent ban for something severe, but if you continue to do something smaller, like what you were
suspended for previously, the length will increase with each suspension until it ultimately ends with a permanent ban.

 

To add to this with a ban in the bio section they will take away your ability to edit and have a bio.

 

How many small bans does it take to get perm banned?
