Doctor's Orders quest

I've been reading about farming the loot midgets, so I thought I'd give it a try. A couple notes:

1. I purchased the seasons pass. Not sure if this matters, but thought I'd mention it.
2. I'm on my 2nd play through. So, Im on True Vault Hunter Mode now.
3. I'm currently level 45 or 46.
4. I've been playing solo (again, not sure if this matters)
5. I have a bunch of quests I just picked up in Sanctuary, all uncompleted.
6. I had trouble getting to the farming spot (midgets) because I couldn't get passed a door. Then found that I need to speak to Mordecai. I have spoken with Mordecai, and the door has opened, then switched back to Doctors orders quest.
7. I reached the point where I should save (Natural Selection Annes) but there is no door there for me to enter. I mean, there is a door, but its inaccessible/not clickable. So...for now I skipped it and continued to the Midget room.
8. At this point, I have NOT picked up any echoes, but I did pick up a couple Samples (different quest).
9. I reached the room with midgets, opened 1 box, no midget. But the remaining 3 boxes had midgets. Killed them and did not receive any legendary weapons, or anything other than a green or blue item.

Ok question:

1. What do I need to do to have the Natural Selections Annex door available? From what I have read, it was included in a pre order, but those posts are from 3-4 years ago. I just bought a hard copy of the game a couple months ago.
2. Has the midgets farming thing been patched on Xbox 360's and no longer available?

Legendary Loot Midget in Wildlife Preserve (have Doctor's Orders Quest activated), Pete the Invincible and the Treasure Room are the best options.

 

Anybody got a pearl weapon yet?

I got a Level DP Harold during the mission where you have to defend the Beacon. I don't know who dropped it but after I killed all the enemies I saw it on the ground. I also got 3 Pearl drops & 1 legendary grenade from Legendary Loot Midgets during the Doctor's
Orders side quest. It's safe to say you could farm them and get some pretty good stuff. I got a bunch of those new relics but only a few seemed to be worth anything.
