    Monitization has gotten ridiculous in gaming today. Unless the government steps in publishers will keep pushing the monitization in games so far that you can't level up without paying $10.

    I would say that microtransactions are here to stay. Gaming is still a business and they need to make money. But I feel it should have a proper balance and I do not support pay to win.

    In my opinion, I don't think micro transactions will ever end. They are a very efficient way for companies to generate extra revenue on top of the game itself.
