Do you think Destiny will survive for 10 years?

I've said it before and I still say it was a decent co-op shooter but just got very repetitive very quick but the biggest disappointment for me was the lack of any sort of story.

Going on Bungies past record, I was expecting a lot more from them story wise but it was just such a let down.

Mr Boas mentioned it, basically with how many people spoke out about the lack of story, repetitive nature of the game, I hope Bungie took note and will rectify this for Destiny 2.

 

I enjoyed it a lot at first, but it's remarkable how poorly conceived the endgame is. It becomes a fusion of Space Invaders and Farmville. I stopped playing it months ago, and haven't even touched the DLC I paid for in advance, if that tells you anything.
I will not be getting Destiny 2. It's far too obvious that this game was designed as a money vacuum for people who get hooked on the loot wheel. I'm not sure it can survive with only the hardcore niche audience that has stuck with it. Anyone's FL gives
you a good indication of just how many people gave up on the game.

 

I loved Destiny when it came out and logged well over 200 hours on it but as others have said, that crap is too repetitive and after a while you think to yourself. . What am I doing with my life? I gotta get my *** wet. So then you call your girlfriend or
wife to take care of that. ANYWAY, the game was just so lacking in content and they expect you to play it for hours on hours grinding and looting for ***. Excuse my french. People have other games too. I can't believe the people that still play it religiously.
Everyone's different yeah but this game? Bleh.

 

Hey Boas BS5, I am actually hoping this gets improved with updates and DLC. But this game didn't last long for me at all.

 

They will really have to up there A game for it to last a year....

 

they'll have to change quite a bit before it gets my interest.

 

Hello everyone

Since I already have season pass, I will be getting the House Of Wolves DLC and hopefully Bungie / Activision will be releasing " free " DLC as an apology for the lack of content in the core Destiny 1 game.

The only way that I will be going anywhere near Destiny 2 is if the core content of Destiny 2 is as big as...

" Destiny 1 core content + The Dark Below DLC content + House Of Wolves DLC content "

combined on the initial $60.00 of Destiny 2.

I love Destiny, still play it quite a bit.

But i'm really starting to run out of things to do other than Crucible. I feel like i've done all the strikes a million times haha.

I think its just the addiction to keep finding new loot that keeps everyone playing haha.

I definitely don't see it lasting 10 years though.

I'd give it about two years max before we see a Destiny 2.
