Do you still play games on the Xbox 360?

Once I finish Tomb Raider I will be pretty much done with my 360 games. I was still playing a bit of GTA Online but now that that is coming to X1 I have stopped playing that now too. Mainly focused on building up my X1 library now.

 

Yes, I have been on Halo 3, and Halo 4 recently.

 

^ Yeah, it's good, but I posted this in another thread, it needs speeding up, the movement speeds are hard to go back to after the faster pace of Halo 4 and other shooters, but I was informed by another member, GG maybe, that it was something they were working
on, looking forward to Halo The MCC.

 

I would still be playing Halo 4 and 3 if it wasn't peer to peer matchmaking. I'm playing Titanfall now because it has dedicated servers. Once Halo gets on Xbox One I will play it again.

 

I'm with you xCHEMISTx, I think Halo 4 was a pretty good attempt at a first attempt from 343i, it had problems, but like you I feel Halo should always have been on dedicated servers, roll on TMCC,

Back on topic, I might have to play some Ninja Gaiden on my Xbox 360 today, gotta get my fix lol.

 

I don't really like the controls for Halo 3 and Halo CE Anniversary but the controls for Halo Reach and Halo 4 are really good. The main issues with Halo 4 and CE is looking up and down for me they're like different controls on the controller for Halo 4
and Reach which I find way more easier and fluid. Halo 4 is really good I love playing Big Team HEAVIES (and sometimes Flood) but tend to not play the other playlists. Halo 4 is also 720p native on Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 has a great list of games, Xbox Live features millions have it and is really enjoyable which is why I'm on it everyday, compared to Xbox 1 where I'm on it only like 3-4 days or so a week mainly to watch videos. 360 also has COD BO2 zombies and Minecraft
which doesn't come out til next month on Xbox 1. But that could change when Minecraft, Halo MC, Halo 5, Project Spark (October), Happy Wars, Voice Messaging, and change Dash background come out.

On Xbox 1 I have these games: Forza 5, PowerStar Golf, Watch Dogs, COD Ghosts, BF4, Zoo Tycoon, Kinect Sports Rivals, NFS Rivals, Titanfall, Halo Spartan Assault (only cuz it was Free with the games with Gold month promo), Project Spark Beta, Tomb Raider.

 

All the time, i like my x1 but i dont have the game variety yet and by that i mean mainly theres no rpgs that sink my time, most of the games i take in small doses but lately i am always on the 360, just started doing the oblivion dlcs finally and will probably
re attempt dark souls again after and may even finish the last 2/3 achievements on skyrim but thats unlikely :/

 

The fact that Halo 4 runs natively at 720p on Xbox 360 is really good! Especially since Xbox 360 uses only DVD's as a media source compared to Blu-ray found on Xbox 1. Especially when some games on the Xbox 1 too only run natively at 720p (some games on
Xbox 1 run natively at higher resolutions).

 

@LTA... That's what I'd miss if I didn't have the 360 still. Playing Skyrim now, then I'm actually gonna stick Morrowind in after that.

 

I recently finally completed GTA V on the Xbox 360, only to find out that it's coming out on Xbox One before the end of the year . Oh well, I'll still buy it again.

As for that, no, my Xbox 360 doesn't see much use now. My youngest nephew likes to play on it when he comes round, and there are still some cool arcade games on it. I played Afterburner Climax on it for an hour last Sunday, but that's about it.

I've purchased a few older multiplatform releases via Steam on my PC recently. Been playing games like Skyrim, Fallout NV and Street Fighter IV. I have my PC connected via HDMI to the same TV that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One are connected to. And I've been
playing these games with my Xbox controller.

With my PC rig I've been able to up the graphics on these games and play in 1080P. Best of both worlds!

 

Xbox 360 is still awesome. If it wasn't, millions of peps wouldn't be using one. From my experience, when I watch Youtube videos and DVD's (Terra Nova, and Sea Patrol), the picture appears better when I play it on my Xbox 1 rather than on my Xbox 360. I
have a Sony KDL40EX720 and both my consoles I connect via high speed HDMI. Whether this is due to the fact that Xbox 1 has a more modern GPU and CPU or that my DVD is being played on a drive which supports Blu-ray,who knows but the picture looks good.

 

ahh Morrowind, what a great game it needs a remake! loved the camoa tong stuff and the house vaults, felt like a proper thief when i raid them all in vivec, still my fave out the 3 just that it looks so old now but i remember when i first got it and stood
staring at the water in amazement, it looked so watery and real lol

Infact they should just remake all the elder scrolls and fallout games and release em onto the x1, i'd buy em all again without a second thought lol

 

Yep same here, would be awesome to play through them all with next gen polish.

 

Eh I didn't like Halo 4 at all really. My favorite Halos were 2 and 3. Reach was pretty good as well but Arena didn't work out too well for the competitive side of things. I'm competitive, I like ranking up based on skill rather than EXP and Halo 2 and 3
had that down pretty well. I do like the socialness as well of other FPSes and Halo Reach in specific however, so don't get me wrong.

Halo 4 felt like a downgrade from Reach and that kinda irked me. But I am VERY excited for the Master Chief Collection and the Halo 5: Guardians Beta. I feel like if Halo 4 had a beta it would've done much better. Like I said though, definitely excited for
the MCC and 5 beta.

Anyway! The 360 definitely has more variety right now. Consoles normally take about 1-2 years to kick off and become norm so I'm not all that surprised that some are still playing 360 a lot more than their Xbox One.

 

What's Skyrim like ? I have been tempted a few times but never got around to buying it.
