Do you sign for an Xbox after sending it in for repair?

Hi, just wondering something -- when you send a console in for repair and then Xbox sends it back to you, have you signed for it?

I could have sworn that the previous times I've sent it in, FedEx would knock, I'd come to the door and sign for it. If I wasn't there, then they'd presumably leave and try again the next day after placing a note on the door. Have you signed for it or have
they always left it at the door? When I talked to Xbox Support, he said he never heard of FedEx just leaving it at the door and now I'm in a huge mess trying to figure out where my Xbox went, if it ever arrived at all or not. It says in the tracking that the
Xbox was left at the door and that to was delivered but that's not the case.

Got banned for 2 weeks

Dear Xbox

I got banned for 2 weeks because a guy was sending messages to me every time I scored on fifa. If you play a game on fifa and press the xbox button you disconnect from the game and you lost the match. That was what he was trying to do by sending “GG” the
whole time. I responded to that guy after the game and I got banned for that. So can you guys please do something about it?

You'll need to contact Fedex and phone support to make sure that there was a signature required on the package. If there was and they just left it at the door then they could be responsible for replacement costs.

I should imagine that the repair team sent a fully traceable, signature-required, insured delivery. Incidents like this must happen regularly. The parcel goes "missing."

It's never happened to me, but in the UK, if a parcel is not delivered within 15 days, then you can file a lost parcel complaint and then you will receive some compensation and an investigation will be made.

They definitely try to repair your console first with the best that they can. Most consoles can be repaired in the service center.
