    do you need to sign in everytime you power on?


    just got he xbox one..do you have to sign in everytime you power on the xboxone to play a game?

    becuse in order to save progress in some games you need to be signed in with the outlook account?

    please help my 9 year old boy has been crying since yesterday when he got it for xmas because we cant sign in..

    why do you have to sign in everytime you start the xbox one

    Sorry to hear it. There is an option for auto sign in on the console. Head over to Settings then choose Sign In Security and Passkey to set up your sign in preferences.

    No, you have the option to set up a passkey for your gamertag as well (same as the 360)
