    Does anyone know if you need to subscribe to EA to play starwars battlefront on the xbox one S. I am a gold member but seems daft that i need to pay additional fees to EA to play a game I paid over 40 quid for

    I bought my son StarWars: Battlefront & created him an EA access account, but when he tries to log on, it says, "you do not have access to online content". How do I fix this?

    If you purchased the game on your account you do not need to have an EA Access membership to play it. However, some game developers do require you to create a free membership to link to their games.

    I've just tried to play online for the first time and yeah, EA account required. It's ridiculous that we have to give out personal details just to play a video game, what a con. A 22g update and 29 bucks wasted. This is the last EA game I'll ever buy.
