Do you keep getting disconnected from Party Chat and online games? This post may be for you!

NOTE: The following steps are strictly for those who are having enduring problems such as being kicked from the party, kicked from the session or being disconnected from Xbox Live randomly when
trying to join/host Party Chat and/or online games. (Not including the new CoD issues)

Step 1: Go to the Xbox Guide (center button on controller) and scroll to your right until you get to Settings.

Step 2: Select System Settings.

Step 3: Choose Storage.

Step 4: Select your main Storage Device and browse through and check to make sure no folders have any yellow or red Exclamation Marks. "!"

Step 5: If you see any such marks, go into the Folder and remove whatever is causing the issue. Then, go back to your available Storage Devices.

Step 6: Highlight your main Storage Device and press Y.

Step 7: In Device Options, select Clear System Cache.

Step 8: A menu will appear, asking if you would like to clear it. Select Yes.

Step 9: Once it finishes, back out once by pressing B. It will take you back to your available Storage Devices.

Step 10: Repeat Steps 6-9 two more times.

Step 11: Once you have done Step 10, press B to back out, until you are taken to your Home screen.

Step 12: Go back to the Xbox Guide and press X to sign out.

Step 13: Once you've signed out, you should be taken to a Profile Sign-In screen that shows your different Profiles, and their Avatars.

Step 14: Scroll to the right until you've highlighted the Download Profile option. Select it.

Step 15: If a message appears telling you that this will sign you out, and if its ok, select Yes.

Step 16: After selecting Download Profile, it will ask you to put in Security Info for the Profile you want to access. In this case, it'll be the Security
Info for your Profile that you'll need to imput.

Step 17: Once you've put in the info, a menu will appear with all of the Profiles that share the same info you imputed.

Step 18: Select your Main Profile, and a loading screen should pop-up.

Step 19: Wait for the selected Profile to finish loading and log-in.

Step 20: Once the Profile finishes loading and logs into Xbox Live, you should be all set!

SECONDARY NOTE: As of 11/5/14 at 4:00 PM EST, I have yet to test to see if it actually worked for me. I only recommend you to try this, because these were the steps I was given by the
Microsoft Support Team, when I called them.

this error message is preventing me from talking in party and game chats. I keep getting disconnected

 

Keep getting disconnected when in party chat

Its brand new so i dont think thats the issue but i may still have my old Belkin
