Do you hear game sounds after you're done playing?

I'm sure you do and I know I do sometimes, but there is actually a name for it. lol

"Game Transfer Phenomenon."

I usually only hear the noises when I'm trying to sleep. I've also seen a lot of the shapes and explosions when I close my eyes. Most recently I had this happen after playing.

The craziest I've had it happen was after playing Doom on the Atari Jaguar. I heard sounds for days. I had crazy dreams about it too. I've also had dreams because of Outlast where I was chasing a serial killer, but in my dream I kept thinking of Outlast if
you know what I mean. It was weird.

Any particular moments stand out to any of you?

You're screwed how? Because you can't hear in game audio through your headset? You sound like a spoiled brat. You're going to cancel getting XB1 because of this? If you're not making money playing why do you even care. It's a video game system.

 

I regularly think I'm hearing the Xbox 360 notification ping while playing a game. I don't see a lot of shapes and explosions when I close my eyes. I just see an extremely vivid but foggy replay of the games I played earlier with a lot of highlights. Nothing
fantastic of course, it's mostly just me dodging needler rounds or having tank shells bouncing off my treads. If I'm really tired I might randomly jerk and wake myself up.

I used to have this happen a lot with non-gaming sports as well such as kickball, I would see myself kicking a ball and then just randomly kick my leg out.

 

Lay off the peyote.

Back when waw was out I use to see the tops of helmets head glitching irl (after crazy long gaming sessions)

 

While I am vacuuming at work I see someone or something in the hallway just standing there. But when I turn my head and look up nobody Is there just an empty hall. I just assumed it had something to do with my medication but it could be this phenomenon thingy
that is causing it. Either that or it was a ghost. The building I work at is only a year old but before that it was an empty field, before that it was all sugar cane. Assassins Creed 4 had sugar cane farms, maybe I saw an assassin

 

I hear all the GTAV songs in my head. Like right now I'm listening to "Party all the time" in my head and I can't seem to make it stop.

 

The Xbox notification ping I hear a lot too, yes. @Gypsy

@Bizarro The songs from all of GTA (especially GTA V), I have in my head too. Especially the ending credits songs. GTA V has an impressive soundtrack. Can't wait to play again.

Sometimes the Blops 2 Mercs announcer chatter gets in there. And explosions.

 

Minecraft music haunts my dreams.

 

I have dreams unlocking achievement. Thought it not alway have those dreams.

Oh yeah I've had this my whole life, sometimes I'll hear game sounds while going to bed or while listening to music I'll imagine it or something. It's weird.

 

I hear the notification ping alot.

 

Glad I wasn't the only one that heard the ping when there wasn't a notification whatsoever.

 

I do the achievement unlocked noise, sometimes out loud at work, hahaha.
